Presentation:
There are two tracks in our PhD Program: Archeology and Art History.
Archeological PhD track: the mission of our PhD Program is to train our students in the best interdisciplinary practices and techniques of archaeological investigation focusing on innovative research areas. At the same time, we provide students with a strong background in archaeological interpretation and theory that will enable them to undertake independent research, explanation, and preservation of archaeological heritage worldwide. Our PhD prepare students to pursue careers as field technicians, researchers and historical and artifact preservationists.
Historical-artistic PhD track: it offers courses across a broad spectrum of areas of art history - art history, art criticism, art collection- and on the study of the historical development and progression of all things related to art.
Our PhD program is dedicated to the development of scholars, teachers, museum personnel, art critics, and other professionals with particular attention to the cultural
